This is a beautiful question ....I am going to answer by my experiences ....God chooses our mates ..yes if we give the time to make them come to us.....If we follow things as the way it suppost to be ...meaning not hurring or anything to meet someone...just having the trust that this beautiful person will come sometimes it feels like it's taking long and that God it's forgeting about us....the good news is that he has a puzzel that he has to match so it could reach to you....just trust him.....but if you hurry and can not wait and look for the mate you want ....you will always find the right person but the road you choose it's the difficult and long one....beleive me!!!

personally i don't think so....in the last 20 years 3 out of 7 marriages are ending in divorce...i really don't think that was gods intention ...choosing a mate is something that happens and most of the time we do the best we can....its a shame that our choice is mostly made on the spur of the moment with sex, looks, money being the leading attractors....

I think that God has plans for us and yes I do believe He chooses our mates. I beleive He has plans for our lives and he does things for a reason. Sometimes we make mistakes and we learn from them.

God gave all mankind free will. Meaning you can make decisions for yourself. Now you are asked to make all decisions through an understanding of what God wants from you. This is where it gets confusing. What does God want from me....You need to get in touch with his Son You know Him..Jesus. Then the three of you will find your path and it really happens everyday...

God does not choose your mate but He does give you instructions on how to choose a mate if you have truly trusted that the Lord Jesus Christ died for your sins. He tells us not to marry a unbeliever. 2 Corinthians 6: 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Personally, I think God match people up. The end decision is in our hand though. So choose wisely, friend!

Not unless you ask Him. Even then you have the choice. It's more likely that you can get a confirmation that the person you are already dating is right for you.
