the assumption of evolution brings down the guidelines of Christianity and that's no longer an exaggeration. enable me make my case: the assumption of evolution has "disproved" the existence of a literal Adam and Eve. on the different hand, all of us understand that folk like Paul believed in a literal Adam and Eve (examine Romans 5:12-21 and 1st Corinthians 15:21-22) and went directly to base an entire new theology ( i.e unique sin and a elect for a redeemer to redeem us from those sins) on the creation and fall of Adam and Eve. Paul's Adam can't exist because of the fact of what all of us understand approximately our organic international for a actuality, and that for the time of fact skill that Paul's theology of unique sin is out the window. subsequently, there is no elect for any redeemer or messiah to keep us from any sins; Jesus turns into redundant. subsequently, Christianity is untrue and has additionally develop into redundant.

It does not fit the doctrine of creation by God. Genesis 1: 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. The Lord Jesus Christ created all things. You say that is hard to believe think about how stupid it is to believe in a "big bang" and that we all came from monkeys. If that is true why do we still have monkeys? Ephesians 3: 9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

It fits just fine by me! Evolution says that things change over time. Christianity (and Judaism, and Islam) says that God created everything. But it doesn't specify how, does it? If God created gravity, He could also have created evolution - both are natural forces, after all! The troublesome thing is when people start to say that it's completely random - what they're really saying is that they can't see the pattern, so there musn't be any. God is beyond us, but we can see glimpses - like evolution.

It does not...unless you follow the thought line that each day of creation was more than our 24 hour period...but that is not likely as the word used for "day" in the bible is the same one used to connotate a 24 hour period.

According to evolutionists, the earth is about 4.6 billion years old.

According to the time line of the bible, the earth is about 6000 years old.

So why do carbon dating and other methods "scientifically" date the earth so old? When Adam and Eve were put on this earth, they were not helpless babies, they were adults. God could have created the earth with apparent age. Also the flood would have greatly changed things as floods do.

It clashes with Creationism, but in regards to the basic principles, with Jesus dying for our sins and all that stuff it fits in fine. It all depends on how you interpret the Bible. If you look at it literally then Evolution has no place, if you look at it figuratively then you have the choice to accept Evolution or not.

It does not fit at all. Evolution says that everything made itself, Christianity says that God made everything. That's different-don't you think?

What evolves is the theory itself. There is nothing in Christian teaching about evolution because it's false

It may require a a better understanding or the differences between faith and science. But since the "glory of God is intelligence, or, in other words, light and truth", you can't just ignore science.
