So I have a crush on these two guys, both are artistic, but they have totally oposite personalities. One is kind of emo, and he is an awsome artist! The other is kind of preppy, and has an amazing voice! Of course I can't either to notice me. The guy that does notice me is in my drama class, he's a football player, and I don't date most athletes (especially football players because i don't even understand the game-and i've already been told to give him a chance but he's kinda perverted and i just don't even want to deal with him-plus even though I am a good athlete and i play softball, I just don't have a lot in common with athletes, I prefer artistists (and musicians) because that's totally what i'm into-music) I'm absolutely clueless! help me!

just incase this makes any difference wat so eva...i'm a freshman...and their both sophmores...the emo one is in my spanish 3-4 class and the other isn't in any of my classes but we know each other from a class when i was in 7th grade and he was in 8th

...and i think this does make a difference...the reason I connect better with artistist is because I write my own songs, i've been playing the piano since i was 5, and I sing, so I feel more connected to art than sports!

listen, never settle for what you know you do not want first of all, Second of all I agree with you the football guy just probably wants to sex you for his rep. go with your heart and when you see these guys you like do not let on that you like them and always be independant stay true to you and do not be a follower, guys hate that, stay out of the mainstream of the crowds, be patient and dress sexy but not preverted.

If you share similar interest like music and arts
then start attending like minded events
and play cool as a cucumber.
For the jock guy.
If you like a player, you gotta get involved in the game baby.

Sounds like ALL of these guys are just playing MIND GAMES with you.
Have you considered dating one of the school's Janitors??? They are usually physically fit (like athletes) but also artistic (they paint over graffiti) plus they have LOTS of keys.

sounds like you're still in school... are you in a class with these guys? if so maybe try and study together and get a friendship going that way. Or, grow a sack and go up to them and tell them how you feel.

Think about it....The guy you don't want to date is interested in you because of the way you act toward him. The ones you are interested in, I'm sure you act differently. Guys want what they can't have!!! Change the way you act around them. It works!!!!

Just TELL the guy you're interested in that you like him and would like to get to know him better.If he isn't completely clueless, he'll get the message and ask you out on a date.

Help them out on stuff, it worked on me when a girl I didnt even think about dating started to do that, but I waited to long and someone else asked her out, took her for granted, damn!

i think that you should be yourself and tell him how you feel but sometimes that doesn't because sometimes they are not interested but you shouldn't try to act like some1 else because you would want them to like you for you. i also think that every1 deserves a chance it doesn't matter how they are because you never know you might actually like him and it wouldn't hurt to try and give him a chance.
