my boyfriend has been prone to look at porn and he knows i don't like it and yet he does it anyway why does he do that and how can i get him to stop?

Guys do this because it's a fantasy. It doesn't mean that he doesn't love you or that he doesn't think your sexy either. Men are always going to be men. They will always have these fantasies in their heads, but that does not mean they will act out these things all the time. I personally like porn myself and I look at it with my man. I don't care if he looks at porn by himself because I know that I take care of him sexually like i'm supposed to and i'm confident knowing i'm a good woman to him. He probably wouldn't feel like he would have to look at it behind your back if you maybe tried to join in and say let's look at it together. It brings the relationship closer in my opinion, but that's just what works for my relationship. If it's really pressing you then sit your man down and lay down the law with him and tell him that you find it disrespectful if that's how your feeling. If he continues to ignore your feelings where this is concerned then maybe you need to think about finding someone that will take your feelings into consideration.

Relax - we can look at porn without it detracting from my girlfriend in any way. She is hotter and cuter and nicer than anything in an adult film, but sometimes she's not here and I feel like.... relaxing!
Porn is just masturbation with a visual aid - it's arousing to look at people having sex. You'll never get him to stop, nor should you. It's like the difference between a lovely 3 course meal and a Snickers. We'd all rather have a nice meal when we are hungry, but sometimes we just wanna grab a Snickers!

Men also have a deep need to get their rocks off frequently.
The best analogy I can think of at the drop of a hat is that if you're filet mignon, he isn't going to give that up just to have a hamburger. Sometimes, he just wants a burger rather than a filet mignon. The burger, though, can make him appreciate how much he really likes filet mignon.
On top of that, there are other things too. If he has a fetish, then he probably doesn't want to bring that up with you, since many people are freaked out by them. (Trust me, though. If you can fulfill his fetishes - if any - he will so be yours forever.)

Dont worry about the porn. its just a fantasy thing for him and its perfectly healthy. in fact, if you hate it so much just leave the room or even the house when he watches it - everytime- and he will stop (if he wants "some" anytime soon. ) what also worked for me was to say some of those stupid little phrases the girls say when I get busy with my man just to freak him out and let him know hes not the only one who can get a reaction from watching it...:)

there really isn't a way to intentionally stop him, but when i get alot of booty then I usually don't resort to porn. maybe you aren't satisfying his sexual hunger and he wants more.
hell sometimes I forget that I had sex that day and still look and some T and A. It's all good. My g/f has more porn than I do.

I dunno, but maybe you do wanna stop him before he gets into the porn that has things that you don't wanna do. Or maybe ask him what's there that he enjoys? Me? I made a few bucks on porn. I played poker with some friends a few years ago, and I had my back to the TV. I don't have to tell you what was on, but I walked out with $600. Cha ching!

It's the voyeurism in him. Men are visual and like watching. I don't think you can get him to do anything he doesn't want to do. This is one of the most important lessons you can learn in your life: You cannot control another person....you can only control your reactions to their behavior.
If it is very important for you not to have porn in your life, then you might want to rethink the relationship. Or accept it.

my bf did the same thing, i made him stop by watching porn also i always got the ones with alot of guys and use to have different wallpapers of men on my computer,he didnt like it and in turn realised how i felt.

My boyfriend does the same thing. But it's because i have a very low selfesteem that causes me no longer to want to show my body.
I have a feeling guys are born with nothing but one thing on thier mind. Sounds sexest but that's what they've shown to me. If it makes you that unhappy - tell him - he doesn't care - leave'em and he can love his wrist and hand for the rest of his life because not many girls will take that for long. ;D
