I don't know who "they" are, but... maybe it is a warning to people to make sure that they are in a church that Jesus will recognize. There are a lot of fraudulent churches out there with lots of people who claim to be saved in them, but are not.

Also, maybe you are misunderstanding something. We need to be a member of the "body of Christ", not necessarily sitting in the church building when He returns. As far as this "another world" thing, i'm not sure what they are trying to say.

If they are Christians, ask them for book, chapter and verse to back up what they say. Then dialog from there. Also, dig into the Word yourself, find out what it says, it is the final authority. If they are not Christians, then their opinion on this matter is irrelevant.

We will be on another planet - if you consider heaven to be another planet. (As it is described as having compass points, trees, rivers, and at least one city, you could possbile make a case for it). But it will be connect to the recreated earth so that people can move freely between them. ("Beam me up, Jesus"?) :-)
