No, there's nothing wrong with it, I don't think it sends a bad message. I'm a Christian woman and I have many guy friends who are both Christian and non-Christian. Maybe in your course of conversation at the table, one of the men will be moved to start attending church and give his life to God!

I see no problem with it. However, what is it that makes such a thing weigh down on you? Is it outside influences or is it your conscience?

Some people will be jealous of that. I find that some women like to be the center of attention. That's especially easy at a table full of men. However, I also know that plenty of women tend to develop serious issues with other women.

It's healthy to have friends of the same sex.

I myself have issues with people in my age group, and dislike being around most men.

I think ultimately, people talk, and they speculate. However, as long as YOU know what you're doing that's all that matters.

Nothing wrong with that. It's a great way to minister to the guys at the table. Who knows? You might change someones life by your presence.

Not the wrong message, but the right one-if I were there (too late for me, I'm 58) I would look at you as a potential life partner.

I see nothing wrong with it. I've seen the opposite in our youth group, but only because there are like 5 guys and 15 girls.

Well 1... do you have Christian friends that you are ignoring in the process of doing which? That shows possible embarrassment and weak faith if so, to detach from them in public. I am not saying you do this.

2... You are not sitting with meeeeee :-)

Nothing! If she's just talking/sitting w/ the men, then what the problem?

For one thing she could probably outsmart them all.
There should be nothing wrong since they all came from a woman.
