RECENTLY I HAVE GOT INJURED ON THE JOB.EVEN THOUGH THE COMPENSATION INSURANCE IS TAKING CARE OF DOCTOR BILLS AND I AM GETTING PAID,WILL I BE ABLE TO GET A SETTLEMENT AFTER I GET WELL.

It dependents on your attorney. I was able to get a settlement from work compensation after refusing surgery and getting better, but it will be smaller.

When you're well, what do you need a settlement for? Settlements are for when you're permanently disabled, and can't work again. It's instead of being paid partial wages until you retire.

So. When you're well, you won't get a settlement.

it would depend on the injury, will you be healed or will you have a disability? if you have a disability then you could end up with a settlement
