Dear Nicolle: Everyone has a time appointed within their souls when they will begin the Great Journey. The Great Journey represents spiritual study; hopefully, one on one with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. This is possible since They teach and Guide through the Mind. It entails two things:
1. Your INVITATION to Them to enter into your life and be your
Teachers and Guides. They will never enter into your life without your invitation.
2. Your learning how to "hear" Them as They speak to you in your thinking process.
We have no choice at all about being what God Created: Spiritual beings. However, we can elect, and do, through Free Will, when we would be willing to start our Journey.
If you feel a desire to deny Them Presence in your Life, that is your soul/spirit within telling you this is not the time. While it may not be the right timing for you, at the moment, there are two things you might consider :
1. You are a spiritual Being Created in your Father's Likeness.
There will be a time when you will turn in the direction of
Home amd begin, in the manner of your own choice, an
awesome Journey.
2. And, remember until that point of time occurs, your
greatest responsibility to yourself is to protect and guard
your spiritual and mental health.

Maybe you feel a little less sure than those other people seem to you. They're so sure they make you feel less sure. On top of it, some of what they believe may not seem right to you.
Faith is there for you if you want it, but maybe it isn't in the form of believing the things some other people believe. Its something you can choose to have; and if you think it all out yourself and look for things that will back up what you come to form as your faith or spirituality, your faith won't be shaken by what other people believe or don't believe.
Sometimes, too, people do go through a time of not being sure they believe. Often, too, people then decide they prefer to believe than not believe - and if you choose to believe then you're no longer feeling as if it is someone else's idea.

I have to say if you are starting to believe that you are losing faith, then you have lost it already. I was there for a long time actually. I wavered back and forth for many, many years until I came to realize I was holding on to something that I didn't really want any more. I went and found a religion that I really do like and can actually believe in. Christianity isn't for everyone. My faith isn't for everyone. No faith is for everyone and that is why there are so many out there. You are going to meet a lot of people that say that they are right and you need to switch to their religion. You are going to hear from Christians that are going to try to convince you to stay and be strong. However, if you have very little faith now and the more they talk about it the less you have, you aren't very comfortable where you are. Find something that you like and feel comfortable with. There are lots of places on the internet to look up. If you want to talk, let me know. I will help you look for something you are comfortable with. Good luck!

Sounds like you are experiencing some dissillusionment with the "Be Happy Christians". This is actually normal!
There are some people who believe that if you are a REAL Christian, then you always have to have on a happy face, no trials or tribulations, and act like everything is great. You know the type: the woman who can have her car backed into, step out of her car to check her damage, only to have her dog step out and get run over by another car, and turn around to get robbed at knife point, only to grin ear2ear and say "PRRAAAAAAAAIIIIIIISSSSSEEEEEEE JJJEEEEEEZZZZZUUUUUSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!" Walking religious wallpaper. All spackel and paint and no reality. They make you feel inferiour because you had a bad day, or a sad childhood, or a toothache.
If that is what is going on, then says I: FEAR NOT, FOR I BRING YOU GOOD TIDINGS OF GREAT JOY!!!
YOU ARE A NORMAL PERSON!!!
It is hard to put up with religious cheerleaders 24/7. They get reeeeeeallly annoying. You would think they had never read the book of LAMENTATIONS. Or Ecclesiasties. Or some of the Psalms. You get the idea.
REAL life has its pitfalls, downers, and blues.
Try this: have a real conversational-type prayer time with God. Just the 2 of you alone. Cry, confess, gripe, yell, plead, beg. Let all of your ugly reality hang out. (Mine is ugly too, so is everybody elses'). Remember, even Jesus cried out "why have You forsaken Me?" Just be real.
And avoid the cheerleaders for awhile. Find some "reality based" believers to hang out with. Chances are, they will be a lot older!
Is Jesus real? YUP.
Is being a Christian always great? NOPE.
Is there a rhythym to life? Yes.
Hope you find yours soon.
Peace.

I can suggest two possibilities that may or may not be the case about your failing faith. The first one might be that you are confusing the message with the messenger. What I mean is that if someone who seems like a phony or a hypocrite is telling you about how great God and Jesus are then you may be inclined to disbelieve them based upon their personality and not upon whether or not what they are actually saying is true.
The second possibility is that you have never been born again by the Holy Spirit of God and so you have never received the spiritual gift of faith and are not being taught by Him as you grow in your walk with Christ.

It is hard to hear people talk about the great things that God has done for them when we ourselves are suffering. Sometimes we are truly suffering, and sometimes we are just envious of what others are being blessed with. I am not saying that you are envious; this is something I struggle with. It is hard for me to read the Bible every day, pray faithfully, go to Chruch, teach Sunday School, lead Bible study, and then see others who seem to be getting more blessings than I. I realize this is the wrong attitude, and I pray for strength to overcome this temptation. For the most part, I am overcoming it.
Two passages from Revelation came to mind as I read your posting. The first is rather gentle, and comes from Christ's letter to the church in Philadlephia, Revelation 3:7-13. The verse which came to mind specifically was verse 11: "I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown." In other words, don't give up. Christ is coming for you, don't lose what you have gained.
The other, also from Revelation, is a little more harsh, so don't take it as a shot against you or an insult. This comes from the letter of Christ to the church in Sardis, Revelation 3:1-6. The verses which came to mind were 2 and 3: "Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you."
Like I said; the second is rather harsh, but no less true for some people. Some people (not necessarily you) need a strong wake up call to realize that their faith is being allowed to die. These people have the reputation of being alive but are spiritually dying. If this is you, please ask God to wake you up, and for His Holy Spirit to envigorate and revive you.
Don't look around for blessings, look at your own life. Recognize what God has done for you; look past the trials and find the blessings.
God bless. I am praying for you, because even if I do not know who you are, God does.

The bible says all we need is faith as small as a mustard seed which is pretty small. Even our faith comes from God so ask him for it. He promises that those who seek Him will find Him. If I were an atheist or humanist, I would go out and hang myself because this life even at its best is bleak. Those who have been born again KNOW that God is real and that changes your entire perspective as we know He is coming again and there will be a new heaven and a new earth and we will live with Him forever. Christianity is for the strong and non belief is the easy cop out for those who don't have the guts to take on the spiritual warfare that will be here until the Prince of Peace comes back and restores everything to its original beautiful perfect state. Don't listen to them. As Jesus says, either your father is God or your father is Satan. No inbetweens. Heaven or Hell. It is up to you to choose who you will serve.

I don't know for sure, but it may be that because you don't know much about Jesus and God and the Christian faith, you may feel slightly intimidated. Perhaps, by praying and trying to read the bible (its best to start with the new testament or with familiar stories) it will become easier to hear about God and Jesus and still feel comfortable. By being comfortable with hearing about God and Jesus, the more comfortable you will be in your faith and the less you will doubt it.

OF ALL I BELIEVE IN I HAVE ENOUGH FAITH AND BELIEF FOR MANY. BIBLE ONLY.
FAITH: KJV Bible 1611 of 66 books + 303 = 1914 after Jesus, an excepted translation [ I began to study in 1963 ], does 66 books provide 2 or 3 witnesses on each subject and story or Jesus our PROMISED SAVIOR? 2Cor.13:1; ...In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. Heb.1:1-13; 11:1-40; 12:1,2; John 20:17;
TIME: The age of the universe, or earth and sun, does it speak for its own self ? If it did not, science would not know anything. The clean are blessed. [Some has fallen demon spirits inhabit them, to keep them ill as they like. Matt.12:43-45] ? HOW MUCH TIME FROM EDEN AND ALL LOST, UNTIL ALL IS SAVED? John 3:13-17; Luke 8:50,52, 54,55; Eccl.12:7; Psm.104:29,30; 1Cor,15:22-28,51-53; First resurrected souls are thousands for the new heavens to be priest of God and Christ [ ELECT { Mark 13:27 ]; BORN AGAIN [ John 3:5,6; 1Pet.16,23; REDEEMED Rev.14:1-7; John 6:39,40,44; 1Thes.4:15-17; WE ARE TO IMITATE THEM AND THESE Rev.7:9-17; as we are the billions they assist TO SALVATION for the coming new earth Heb.9:27[ Man is Judged ]; 12:22-24[ just men]; Rev.3:12; 20:1-6.12,13; 1000 year reign of Christ to be perfect for the kingdom of God forever
