Reminds me of a quote.

"Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up everytime we fail."

I forget who said that.

What I do is try the best I can everyday in everything I do. Then I know I did all I could and don't question what I should of or could have done.

Then I grab a beer and kick the dog....just kidding.

I look for a release. Something to take my mind off of it. I like to cliff jump into water, I like to ride a bike until my legs feel like they'll fall off, I like to play fast acting real-time video games against human opponents to make me focus. I'll read a book or watch a movie. I like to smile, to find something or someone to make me happy.

Hope this helps.

Stress is always going to be there believe it or not.
Sometimes you just wont realize it.

I believe everything happends for a reason..
So when you are at the worst point in life..
You can say I have already been through this.. so
I come prepared.

Some ways to relieve stress is get away!
Take time off.. and if you cant go to far do something you have never done before.. Visit a beach.. swim.. run.. eat healthy so you can feel great..

Treating yourself convinces you brain one way or another to not think of what is happening that is hurting you..

Everyone handles dealing with stress in different ways. Some individuals are stress-eaters, some drink alcohol in excess, and the list goes on and on.

I like to stay busy and keep myself motivated. That way, i am not focusing on the stress, rather i am focused on completing what needs to get done. Exercise, something as simple as a walk does help relieve stress also.

I am a terrrible coper. I have a psych doc who prescribes and does therapy. I see her every 2-4 weeks, change meds as nesccesary, try to tread water just enough to keep my head above water, until I get some kind of life saver. Most of all, if your body wants to shut down let it. Sleep in more, take naps, whatever it takes to get you thru the diff times, have someone take the kids while you nap. Leave dishes in the sink while you nap, take a leave of absense from work if you have to. Do proactive things like asking for advice on this board. Try to be evry prroactive in your recovery.

I also have a very stressful job and home. On my way home from work I listen to a cd of my favorite songs and turn the stereo up as loud as I can. Oh and take the long way home.

Think of some other stressful time you got past. If you could conquer that one you can conquer anything! You are Superwoman! If that doesn't help, close your eyes, clear your mind, then picture yourself breathing the calm, soothing feelings in...and breathing the stressful, tense feelings out.

Concentrate on what is important and what needs to get down. Do what needs to get done, works towards what is important to you. Think, what do I value, who do I value, what do I need to get done and do it. The right activity provides a lot of stress relief. Do not put things off...get it done. Sounds silly but picture this, what would they say about you at your funneral? What would you family, friends, and religious figure say about you? What would you want them to say... Keep that in mind, decide what you want to do and who you want to be, how you want to treat people. Remember you have control over how you react to people...that is the control we all have. Peace and best of luck.

Think of all the positive things in your life. All of your positive assets. Once you get over the mountain you will see the beautiful valley, and you realize how strong and beautiful you are, look forward to that.
