From my experience the reason more mexicans are not in jail is because the law dont' want to deal with all the fake names and such. Another reason is because they can run home to mexico and nobody can get them, another reason is that they come into this country with the fake ids and all the names are about the same so it is hard to find the right ones. But I will say that if you look on the FBI list of most wanted you will see alot of them there. I doubt that they fill much of the prisons because we don't know who the H**l they really are.

Dar makes a good point. I know quite a few people here working with stolden ssnumbers and id's. They say that They can not go back to mexico because it is too dangerous for them to be there. They say if they go back they would probably be killed Or they are running from something. All different kinds of stories. They say their only option is to stay here and work illegally because if they try to apply for citizenship they will be deported and they can't go back to their situations they are running from.

Of course there are more caucasians in prisons, they are the majority of the population by far!..........but if you really want to look at number, you should look up statistics in los angeles, where the majority is still caucasian but only by a slight margin, and you will find that the prison population is composed of 40 percent illegal immigrants, you shouldnt be selective, all you have to do is visit tijuana, where it is filled with crime, prostitution kidnappings, and if you really want to see a bad crime rate go to Mexico city!.

Most of the people in the country are caucasian, (and I'd put at least most hispanics as caucasian). If most of the people in prison are caucasian it would just be representative of the general population.
What is not representative of the general population is the crime rate amongst illegals who are about 5% of the population and between 25 to 30 % of our prison population according to numerous accounts I have seen.
Think about it. One reason people run across borders is because they are no longer welcome at home.

I don't think anyone's claimed the MAJORITY of prisoners are illegals (there are hispanic legal citizens, don't confuse the two). It's just that there should be 0 illegals being allowed to commit crimes in the US. Instead, 12% (as the lowest estimate) are illegal aliens.

I didn't quite get the question.
Illegals can be anyone that is illegal, from hispanic's to russians, to asians, to cubans etc.. I would say that there are plenty illegals that do fill up a large percentage, but caucasians do fill up about half of the population from my experience.

Wouldn't illegals who are convicted of a crime be deported? I don't know, but that's what I assume.
