My boyfriend brought up at dinner time that a girl he used to see a LONG time ago drunk called him late last night and that he listened to her talk nonsense for about 10 minutes before faking a bad connection and hung up on her. Should I be thinking anything of this. Like... he NEVER usually answers his cell late at night and he NEVER ever answers his cell if it's a number he doesn't recognize. He accused me of pouting and acting like a redneck 9 year old because I said it bothered me that she called. Am I wrong? Is he right?

Alot of ppl drunk dial, I know I have to my ex. I would not worry about it unless it becomes a ritual for her.

I have always felt like if he gets mad at me then he is guilty of something. You have every right to be upset men can be dogs at times. They tell you what you want to hear or just have of the story. Why did he even talk to her for the 10 minutes? And what I would want to know is that how long ago did they date if it has been a long time how does she have his cell number.

you are both right and wrong. I would be questioning that also but if he faked a bad connection after only ten minuets id say that you have nothing to worry about. as for him calling you a redneck 9 yearold first what does that mean and second being in a relationship means telling eachother what you are feeling. just hang in there.

You should not worry. If it happens again then you should start pouting. And if the relationship ended so long ago what does it matter to you. Give him some trust.

Don't sweat it. He told you about it and he didn't have to. I'm guessing he recognized the number, and thought maybe there was some kind of emergency. If he wanted her, he could have hidden that call from you. He didn't. You have to understand that he did have a past before you. He can't shut that past off. It doesn't mean he wants to keep her in his 'present'...but he can't keep all of his past seperate from you. Be glad that he told you.

You are right in feeling this way!!! They are your feelings!!! And justifiably so, how would he feel if it was the other way around??? Why would he waste his time listening to someone that was so drunk that they wouldn't make any sense anyway late at night???

He told you all about it. He didn't hide it from you. Be happy that he is so honest & trustworthy. I understand why you feel a little ticked off but look at the good side of it.

If he had any plans for her, he wouldn't have told you about the call. He did tell you and you got upset. Think he's gonna tell you next time she calls?
