Do something you enjoy. As long as it is something you really enjoy and requires you to be active you will only be hungry after you are done with the activity and then you can choose to eat a meal that replenishes the nutrients lost and does not bring in more calories than are needed.

hobbies! We're moving this week, and all my hobby stuff is packed up, and I'm eating everything in sight. On the good side, that means less food to pack over to the new house.

Okay... start resisting the temptation!! And if you can't, replace those fatty foods with fruit and veggies. Then, in a few weeks, when you are hungry again just take your mind off of it and take a run, read a book, or watch TV. It really does help!

because you are working out your body is using more energy and thus wants more energy to store. It is natural while workingout for your body to want more food... then if you have a will=power problem.... you can see where you can end up.... at the grocery store! LOL..

Best thing is to keep the bad stuff as far away from you as possible. If you have to "go and get it" then you have time to change you mind.

Something to note is that if you are working out regularly.... that candy bar will not make you gain weight, it is the 5 candy bars that make you gain weight.
Most people when they diet stick to a very strict diet and never allow for cravings or desires. You should plan one day a week for a "junk day". On this junk day eat what ever you would like. Dont pig out..... be reasonable. But eat what you like. Again, if you are working out it is easy to maintain a great body and still not deprive yourself.

Try eating small amounts; even just a little bitty piece of bread just to kill the hunger. If you do that, you will be able to hold out till meal times.

First of all, don't keep chocolate and chips around.
Remember, you have to walk the length of a football field to work off ONE m&m! Next, keep yourself as busy as possible. YOU have to want eating healthy worse than you want to put bad food into your mouth. Get an accountability partner. Keep a food journal. GOOD LUCK!! :)

I am a persnal Trainer and I tell this to all my clients...Whenever you get a craving Drink a 20 oz glass of water and if it doesn't go away drink another. This causes you to drink more water (added bonus) plus keeps you from eating excessively

Good LUCK!!!

What works for me is to acknowledge your hunger, and take pride in it. If your stomach growls, it's a sign of accomplishment-- it means your stomach is empty, and the fuel you're burning is the ugly stuff. Naturally, eat three or more meals a day, but ideally, you want to be "rewarded" by hunger pangs before you satisfy your hunger. It's all about turning a negative into a positive.

I intend this course of action to be temporary, though. When you've sufficiently broken yourself of the habit of eating for pleasure, just follow your instincts. Your body knows more about nutrition than your head ever will.
