She is trying not to hurt your feelings. She's really not interested. Trust me. OR Have one of your friends ask one of her friends if you need it confirmed.

If she's in as bad of shape as you made it seem she may just need time to recuperate. Someone who tries to get in her face now runs the risk of catching the rebound baggage. I mean, if you were the guy that stood by her in her tough times she'll remember that (I know I would). She may see you as the guy who saw her at a bad time and didn't bail out on her. When she comes back to her regular self, you may be the one she'll consider. After all, she probably doesn't need someone hitting on her right now. She needs a friend. Do you really want everything to go down the drain, friendship AND potential for more, all because you couldn't wait?

I would give her the space that she has asked for. If she wants to get in touch with you, she knows how to find you. She's probably is just taking a break to get herself together. If I were you, I would move on. If it's meant to be, she will contact you. Also, you don't want to be the rebound guy anyway, those relationships never work out.

That would depend how long it has been since you wrote to her entirely.
If you like her that much, give her time and space.
Do what she asks and be friends. If you pressure her in any way the outcome will be what you dont want- and thats for sure.
Give it a while, let her come to you now. You've said your bit.
I hope this helps a little.

I'm really sorry to say but i dont think she is interested by the sounds of it. How about you wait and see if you hear from her now...you've sent her a msg so the balls in her court now. See if she contacts you...if she does then thats good then if she doesnt then move on. We've all had those people that we thought we're "perfect" for us but they dont always turn out to be. Never mind though...there's plenty of girls out there!

I'm sorry to tell you, but I think you are wasting your time. If she was crazy about you...she would have written a reply right away.
I've been in her shoes. I received letters...I didn't throw them away, but they didn't touch me. I took a pen and checked each letter for mistakes in spelling......with red pen. I never wrote back. It's not like I flirted with those people. Did she ever flirt with you? As I said, don't waste your time with her.

Sounds like she is trying to ease out the door. Don't take it personal, she probably thinks it is the best decision for herself. Just pray on it, and you will be fine, trust me.

Play hard to get and give her some space. She'll realize how special you are. Trust me.
