Is there anything wrong with women having impure thoughts when I talk to them?

I get this alot at the clubs and someone tried to tell me that it is partly my sin.

Depends what you call 'impure thoughts'. I assume from that you must be catholic. It's the kind of rubbish they fill you with during the indoctrination process to make you obey them for life. Don't you know that it is normal human behaviour to look at the opposite sex and have thoughts of sexual matters. It's all part of God's plan to ensure the human race survives by procreation. You would not be 'sinning' to think these things, neither would the girls. Why do you think that animals and birds are brightly coloured? It's to attract the opposite sex and give them interest. This is exactly the same with humans. We like to make ourselves attractive, the whole point being that it interests the opposite sex. According to my dictionary sin is defined as : 'Moral offence or shortcoming especially from the point of view of religion. Condition of so offending.' Therefore 'sin' is to contravene a set of rules devised by 'man' not 'God'. Tell me any man who has the right to define these rules. As the Bible says 'Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.' Evenm the pope sins evry time he is called 'Holy Father' and allows it. He is no more holy than anyone, in fact he is not 'holy' at all. The only 'holy' beings are God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. No-one else.

You want to hope those impure thoughts don't include wanting to hang you from the nearest telephone pole for your arrogance...or at least, hope like hell they don't act on those impure thoughts...
Most of us have figured out by this time that if a man has to flaunt it, he really hasn't got it...and if he's really got it, he has no need to flaunt it. Or, like a redneck gal once told me "Don't call him a cowboy till you see how he can ride...."

ur right it is ur fault what makes u think going to a club is not a sin. then drink what u christians use to say was the delivels mouth wash. and u probably drinking it. why r u going to a club and u r probably looking at them with a look to make them want u. see this is the thing wrong with ur religion people changed it. remeber when cristians use to say alchol is a sin wat happened there. and when women use to cover them selves wat happened there. when it was a sin to do adultry b4 marrige what happened their buddy. what happened to the christian men who didnt use to talk to women to aviod bad things. the men who use to lower their gaze. why did islam and christianity differ even more over the centuary. see we muslims use to say how little diffrence there is in islam and christianity. now there is a big gap. the christians use to say they belive in god but now is it jesus.

Nope as its just as natural as you having 'impure' thoughts about them. It is a basic human instinct to think these things just as it is yours, totally normal.
