one of my friends in ym keep on telling me that.. and if i ask him what does it mean he wont tell me.. i hope someone will help me about that..

kawai --> cute
chang --> a suffix which shows the colse relationship between you.

Dear or Honey or Baby ...that's the reason why he didn't tell you...

He's calling you a cutie..is chang your name? Or did you mispell it "chan"?

"Chan" is a word you add to someone's name in place of "san". Only used between close friends and family.
Example: Joe-chan instead of Jos-san

If the friend is Japanese, that may be "kawai ko chan". it means cute babe.

believe I remember someone saying that it meant "beautiful" in some language. One of my fellow writers for the site I used to write for had that as their name.

kawaii means cute, and chan refers to a person who is your friend in a sweet, cute kind of way
