depending how old your toddler is and of course some of these suggestions need supervision for choking reasons;
frozen washcloth
frozen bagel-mini size, keep an eye out for hunks breaking off as it thaws
toddler toothbrush with safety handle
fingertip toothbrush that you use to rub the gums gently
popsicle, frozen push ups
gum numbing rub you can buy made for toddlers at a drug store
Patience! Love, hugs, cuddling, rocking. :)

I froze gogurts(yogurt in a tube) and let my kids suck on them, healthier than Popsicles.

In the baby isle there is a gel for teething pain (baby anbesol?) It works short term. I used to give a dose of tylenol then put on the gel.

Yeah we all go thru this with our kids. One thing that helped my son a lot were the burp cloths they use as babies. He loved using those. He always carried one around. I guess it helped him massage his gums plus it relieved his itching. He had one of those most of the time in his mouth. Plus it helped him control his drool a lot. Good Luck

They have teething pills for pain for toddlers, I forget the name of them but your pharmacist will know, they disolve quickly in their mouth and help a great deal. They worked great for my daughter.

baby orajel, i used it on my son when he was teething. it works awesome. you put a small amount of it on the tip of your finger then spready it all around their gums. it lasts for a long while (enough to get some sleep in) and is very helpful for all parties involved, trust me.
