I found the gel ineffective in getting rid of a wart. (The freezing stuff also did not work.) What worked for me was using the disks that come with corn remover pads (which have a higher concentration of salicylic acid) and using a bandaid to tape them onto my wart. Every couple days I used a new disk, making sure to peel away the dead skin to expose as much as possible of the wart. It took about three weeks to convince my wart to go away.

Another technique is to tape a piece of duct tape to the wart. This has actually been proven to work on warts. Again, you may need to leave it in place for a number of weeks. My son got rid of a big wart on his hand with this technique.

If you have the plantar wart on the bottom of your foot, I don't think the compound w will do the trick. I read one time in a Prevention magazine to put Vitamin E on it every day & it will fall off itself.

It won't work. You have to freeze off plantar warts.

Doesn't work. Get it removed by a Doctor.
