Ok, so we booked our honeymoon like 6 months ago through Apple Vacations. The travel agent (one assigned by Apple Vacations) called today and said they are no longer offering flights on Tuesdays which is of course the day we are scheduled to leave. So they gave us two options: we can either leave the Saturday before or we can cancel it altogether and get a refund. We can't leave the Saturday before because that is the day of our wedding. Our wedding is less than a month away and if we cancel it now we'll never be able to find something that isn't really expensive. Plus we can't change the dates because my fiance already put in for his vacation and he can't change it.
I don't want to have a crappy honeymoon just because stupid Apple Vacations canceled our flight a month before we are supposed to leave. Has this happened to anyone? Does anyone know how to get in touch with Apple directly (not through the travel agent)? I am so mad I don't know what to do!

Changing the time of the wedding is not an option. It's less than a month away. Invitations have been sent out already, the reception place, dj, cake, caterer etc. are already booked. I can't change the times.

Channel your anger and start pricing out a different honeymoon. You still have a month, which means that you are still within the 7, 14, or maybe 28 day window for discounts. Hotels will still be offering deals - thoroughly check websites. You don't say where you were traveling and exactly when, so I can't give you any details. But, I can say that most hotels offer specials during the fall - it could be free champagne, free breakfast, AAA rates, free nights, etc. I just got an e-mail about September rooms in Europe for under $200 a night, with breakfast and all kinds of amenties, during a peak tourist week! The deals are there, you just have to search for them.
Feel free to contact me and I can give you more details or refer you to a good travel agent (not me, this is not spam, I just feel for your situation). Good luck to you. : )

After much searching I was able to locate this information for you. Hope it helps.
Apple Vacations

Another option...do not cancel honeymoon yet but get a real travel agent to work on checking other honeymoon destinations or even the same destination....last minute deals can always be found. You may have to go with another company.

The travel agents basically ARE Apple Vacations. They are your best bet, but I'm surprised they didn't offer any other options.
Have the Tuesday flights been cancelled only to your destination? In other words, do they still have Tuesday flights going somewhere else? Perhaps you can exchange your Bahamas vacation (if that's where you were going, this is just an example) for one in Jamaica.
Or, you can cancel it and plan it on your own. Say, for example, you were going to the Bahamas. Go to Orbitz, Expedia, and Hotwire and book the same vacation yourself. My husband and I went to Tulum, Mexico to a six-apple resort, but we went through Orbitz and paid a fraction of what Apple charges. But being so close to the date, be prepared to pay a bit more. This would work because many other airlines go to your destination, not just Apple.

where do you live? You can always take a smaller honeymonn closer to home maybe like a 3 hour drive. it will be more relaxing and then take a *** trip for your first anniversary. thats what we are doing . You could probably have a really nice relaxing homeymoon that could save you some money. You could go wine tasting and still do a lot of romantic things just something to think about

I'd get my money back, and call another agency. Explain what happened, and see if they can help you. If not, pick a spot nearby and enjoy yourselves there. We just went up the coast for our honeymoon. The honeymoon is just a time for you and your husband to sit back, relax and enjoy each other. You don't need to be in Bermuda to do that. Good luck, and I hope everything turns out alright for you two.

"Did you get the details in writing? If you did, check your contract to see if you agreed to the possibility of the change. If you do, you are out if luck. If you didn't, then call your wedding planner, a lawyer, or you can do it yourself, and tell them that according to your contract they can not do it and you are sorry that they discontinued the flight, but it isn't your problem."
100% agree.
I also agree with an early wedding and getting a late flight. I also think they can fly you out the monday too.

First....
I would call local air services....Delta, jet blue and see what they have opening...I would buy a ticket..at what ever cost...then I would call the apple place and say...We had to pay extra....$ for a ticket..at the last minute..if we would have know earlier..we could have saved money...but it was unprofessional for you to cancel it at the last minute..ask them for the refund..but also what they can do to keep your business....talk about frequent flyer miles, etc....tell them that you will tell your friends about not using them. also call the better business bureau.....that might leave a nice mark and they might fork over the money for your flight...

Get your refund and just find somewhere completely new to go. Don't let this ruin your big day. When all is over call main office and give them Hell, who knows you may get a free First anniversary trip out of it.
