I ask this because each time someone asks what the best beer in the world is, most people reply Budweiser, Corona, Stella, or some other low end beer. I have to wonder how many of you buy only whatever's on sale at the supermarket.
BTW, I can honestly say I've tried well over 500 different brands of beer. I brew my own beer and write about for a beer newspaper.

Why would I make this up, childfire? All you have to do is be willing to spend more than twelve dollars on a case of beer and a whole new world will open for you. There are many bars in New York City that have hundreds of different beers at any given time.

Over 300, brand named beers... probably more! I love the many varieties of beer, and their histories.
It is impossible to pick a favorite, though.
Quality home brew is truly an art form, and a wonderful experience from beginning to end!
If you count these "Private Labels" I've sampled over 700.
Keep up the good work, fellow beer connoisseur!!!

I believe I have tried at least 500 beers. Surprisingly, Stella ranks fairly high on my list. I think it is one of the freshest tasting lagers that is widely available.
Overall, my all time favorite is Corsendonk Brown Ale. I'm fond of most of the Belgian Abbey beers, but Corsendonk Brown hits my palate just right.
I am completely subjective.

I have tried perhaps 200. I used to work as a bartender at a bar equipped with 50-100 beers at any one time. Not surprisingly, I am very fond of beer from belgium, but my favorite beer of all time is Mackesons.

you purchased it precisely precise about beer being an accquired flavor. properly, i'm sorry to assert, in case you don't like beer, you basically don't like beer. there is likely no longer any particular sort of beer accessible which will replace that. That being reported... i love beer. Hats off to you to be prepared to attempt even with the undeniable fact that. i have been attempting to get my spouse to delight in beer for years now and that i the nearest i visit get her to taking section in beer is wine coolers, and from time to time she'll have some Smirnoff's. it quite is what i might want to represent to you. They flavor more desirable like Sprite than beer, yet they do have an impressive alcohol content cloth, and they gained't leave you with that unusual yeasty flavor that beer does. Technically they are not beer, yet malt beverage, yet they per chance as close as you would possibly want to come to easily taking section in a lager. sturdy success. i desire you discover the beer you're searching for.
