plus all the people i know said me and her would make a good couple do i have a chance

the girl obviously has something bothering her about ur question...either she's NOT INTERESTED, but trying to be polite by not actually saying "i won't go out w/ you", or she could be involved with someone at the moment, or her parents might be really weird about her dating people, or maybe her friends are putting pressure on her to decline ur proposal. i say forget about it, no matter what ur friends say, and move on to the next one. good luck!
