I share your concern Bob. This is why we are instructed to fight the good fight, join in prayer and spread the good news - AKA - Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Satan is hard at work and doesn't come clothed in a red suit with a pitch fork. He comes in spirit form, leading people away from Jesus and is thriving in false religions of works, "spirituality", etc.
Stay strong in the faith, Bob!

Well, Bob, congratulations: you are the first person to make me FURIOUS. I recognize that I will probably never meet you and that you and I are basically non-entities to each other, but you got me going so now I'm gonna vent.
Pablito did not attempt to take the faith away from someone. If someone has a conviction that they are close to God through a particular faitrh, that faith gives hem joy and peace and telling someone that if they follow that faith they will burn in hell is attempting to remove that peace from them. Don't anyone quote the Bible at me: I don't believe in it so you may as well quote Wuthering Heights. I find YOUR question sickening because rather than seeking common ground with someone of a different faith, you have chosen to ostracize him. WWJD, huh? Make like 4th graders on the playground and say "don't play with joey - he likes girls and has cooties"? THIS is what give Christians a reputation for being intolerant.
Do you know ANYTHING about witchcraft as it is practiced today? I'm a witch and a monotheist and I consider my "spells" just prayers. The stuff just helps me to focus my attention on communing with the Divine, and I bet I give a LOT more thought about what I ask for than Christians. For instance, I would never pray for some a man to call, because as much as I want him to, asking God to interfere with his free will is wrong. Do you even think about things like that? And yet we are the ones who will burn in your hell, huh?
You are SO convinced that the Bible is correct that you cannot even FATHOM that there are intelligent, good and wise spiritual people who God Loves who do not agree with you. I can admit that my beliefs may be wrong... but I bet you can't. I'm not trying to take your faith from you, but it sure would be nice if you could learn to be a bit more respectful of mine.
Blessings, Bob. Maybe sometime on a different question we'll be on better terms. Peace.
-Laura

I dont suppose you took the time to read the posting as if you did then you would understand that even though pablito is a 'spiritual director' he didnt offend the person by insisting that they must undertake the 'spiritual direction' of his specific religion but instead anwsered the question with high regard to the persons own personal belief system. If only all Christian brothers and sisters as you put it respected that in this world each and every one of us has beliefs that do not tally with yours. Learn your religion and recognise that hate filled vile contempt for other beliefs regardless of religion is a passport to your own hell.......

This person is seeking help from a Catholic advisor, and as such, you need to butt out of it. How does that sicken you, exactly? Because he doesn't want your version of the truth? And besides, God has a special place for hypocrites and people who think they are better than everyone else too. You know, if you were truly "in Christ," you wouldn't be spreading hatred about somthing you don't know anything about. Obviously this guy knows a lot about all different kinds of faiths, and is trying to help others find their way. "Blessed is He, who in the name of Charity and Good Will, shepherds the weak through the Valley of Darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper, and the finder of lost children."
A *Not-so-self-proclaimed witch..who gives plenty good spiritual direction, without causing hatred. (Unless you have something to say about it, I suppose.)
Have a nice day.
Blessed Be.

I give spiritual direction and I am not what most would consider a Christian. It is possible to help some one find their own way, and not influence them on what they should or shouldn't believe. Some people find their answers in Christianity and some do not. There is room in the world for all. Blessings.

Again I ask are you God? We are all mortal man, and as such can cast no moral stone at anyone. Now ethics is a different story, but I will save that for another time.

Having seen several of Pablito's posts, he has a very good head on his shoulders, in my opinion. In fact, he directed the questioner towards going to their home church first in their search for a spiritual director.
What place does your God reserve in hell for the sanctimonious and judgmental, such as yourself?
Bright blessings,
Tirya

Pablito simply told him how to go about finding one. He didn't give spiritual direction. His advice is similar to what a Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, or Taoist would give. He isn't trying to convert anyone. It is people like you that give the atheists here a reason to complain and Christians a bad name.
