Just tell them. Your an adult. They can't kill you. It's one of those things you just have to take the brunt of. No biggie.

Tell them he was 20 until an evil Wizard recently turned him into a 26 year old because of an intergalactic rivalry between the Aquarius Empire and the Romulus Republic creating the need for slightly older Star Squadron Leaders and the Republic's assessment that your boyfriend is the leading candidate for the earth station squadron leader position...
Or you could just tell them that you panicked and lied about him being 20 and that you're sorry.

just tell them
you're 18, there's nothing they can do, you don't have to listen to them anymore.
But whoa! you're caught up in a web of lies. There are two ways out: the truth, or more lies.
The truth is simple, so i will elaborate on the lies. You would have to fake a breakup and then tell them that he's a new guy you're dating, and a truthful description this time. That would leave some lies behind, but get to the truth in a safe manner.
If they want details about the fictional "breakup," just tell them you don't want to talk about it.

Well, there is the urban legend of the girl who writes the letter to her parents telling them all sorts of things like her dorm burned down, she is engaged to a gangster, she is pregnant by him, and the disease he has will clear up soon, etc. Then she ends by saying, "None of that was true, but I did get a D in French."
You could do that sort of thing. Write a long letter filled with all sorts of nonsense that would give your loving parents heartattacks and finish it with "None of that is true." You know what? Better idea, tell them "We want to stay together but we cannot continue this based on a lie. We love each other and we have to tell you the truth. Because how we treat our parents is how we treat ourselves and we want to keep you in our hearts forever..." then tell them the age thing. Apologize. Admit you were wrong about lying. No excuses. Reaffirm you love them. Ask for their forgiveness.
Best of luck. And romance is wonderful.

Wow. I'm sure you've already learned your lesson but DON"T LIE!! Honestly, your old enough to make your own decisions so I wouldn't worry about his age. Breaking the fact that you lied for so long is another story. Tell them after dinner (better mood) and expect them to be dissapointed. Just tell them you made him lie so they don't hate him. That would be a nightmare. It will be weird for a little while but in time they'll get over it. Just give it time and never lie to them again.

Try this route:
STOP LYING and tell them the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
Why did you lie in the first case? To your own self be true. Speak the truth an speak it ever; cost it what it will. He who hides the wrong he does will do the wrong things still.

What a tangled web you weave when you lie.................Now that you are 18 you can date anyone that you want. Just sit down and explain to them the reasons why you did it. But if he suggested you lie to your parents that isn't cool. If they like the guy already, they should continue to like him. But they may also think he is pressing you to lie to them. I don't know what to tell you. Should've just told the truth, I guess.

Fess up, ALONE.
Let your parents know that this guy is ALREADY a keeper, done with school, and that it was YOUR DECISION to hide his age and that he was TOTALLY AGAINST IT FROM THE START, but that he RESPECTS you and against his BETTER JUDGEMENT went along with your grand illusion.
You're 18, grow up and stop acting like a 16 year old climbing out of the window to go meet up with the 37 year old guy next door.

YOU really need to come clean to your parents, tell them how sorry you are BUT you didnt think they would approve of the age difference, but its only six years thats not a big gap, they may not like the idea of you telling them lies BUT i dont think six years gap will make them go mad,

Well, I would suggest you take a step back for a second. If you had to lie to your parents, and he was willing to go along with it, how much of a future do you have?
If you really like him and he really likes you, come clean. Apologize to your parents and see what happens.
