1. It's not his birthday, it a day to celebrate him coming into the world. Confusing I know but there is a difference.

2. Giving gifts is symbolic of the wise men bringing the gifts to the newborn King.

3. I don't know what tradition your talking about. Spending time with family and celebrating Jesus is the original tradition.

4. Christmas to day is losing its value as a religious holiday. No other religious holiday is being targeted to devalue. Ever wonder why?

5. You must be very mature to come on here and complain about something with such a loaded question and demonstrating your ignorance by trying to upset people with your petty ego.

Grow up and open your eyes

Oh you poor child... Too bad Jesus' birthday isn't on December 25. Christmas is celebrated on a Pagan holiday. So you need to ask them. Christmas = Mass for Christ

The bible never mentioned; Christmas trees, Easter eggs or bunny rabbits, Santa claus. All of this was invented during the Council of Nicea in 325 A.D

Christians in the 4th century come up with the Christmas on a Pagan holiday, not God.

What if Jesus' birthday was celebrated on the 4th of July?
How would that have anything to do with the Independence of America?

get educated! Christmas has nothing to do with Jesus, it is a pagan holiday with pagan roots and pagan traditions. Somebody slapped Jesus' birthday on there so it would look good and pagans could go around calling themselves Christians but not have to give up their pagan celebrations and traditions. You will find nothing in the Bible about celebrating Jesus' birth- which is more likely to have happened at the time ofthe Feast of Tabernacles and you will find nothing in the Bible about celebrating Christmas.
Don't we just love all these non believers who will tell us not to judge, then call us uneducated, never read a book, weak minded but they continually show how ignorant they are of simple matters that don't take a whole lot of research to figure out.
God bless you!

People created the traditions - not Jesus. I can't control what people give on my birthday.

Well, maybe because Christmas isn't really His birthday. HE didn't tell us to observe His birthday at all, much less what we should give.

Please don't confuse the Pagan Holiday called Christmas with Christianity. There are biblical references in scripture that this is not a "Christian" practice.
