There are no words in the spanish language starting with W, besides those whose origin is a foreign language. For those foreign words that have been fully incorporated to the spanish language, the starting letter have changed from w to v (like wagon: vagón; waltz: vals; watt: vatio). For those words coming from the english language, sometimes it keeps it's original form (like in whisky)

Hi!
Generally, those are words that come from the English Language, but that have been accepted as part of the Spanish Language.
Some that I found in the DRAE (The Dictionary of the Royal Spanish Academy) are:
- WAGNERIANO (relative to Wagner, the composer)
- WASHINTONIANO (related to the city Washintong)
- WATT (as in light watt. This ons is a noun)
- WEIMARANÉS (belonging to that German city)
- WOLFRAMIO (also a noun)
There are also more common ones in the language, like WATERCLO (a word -noun - many people use to reffer to the toilet), and WHISKI (which is also in the dictionary and is a noun)
Goodluck!

Like Donald Shelt says, above, Spanish doesn't have any words that start with "w". All the words that start with this letter, that Spanish speakers use, are foreign words, either from English or German, or other language.

Both the letters W and K are foreign letters in Spanish. There are no true Spanish words that start with either letter.
The sounds of the letters exist, though. The W sound is symbolized by the letter u plus another vowel. These are called dipthongs.
K sound is a c before a o and u, qu before e and i.

I have a Spanish alphabet thing and the word that there is wagon which is a train car. It is really kind of German. There are not a lot of W words. Use a dictionary if you have one and look under W.

None. There are a number of foreign words used in Spanish that use the letter W, but that was not your question.

so you got up to the 'w's now, It would have been quicker just to ask them all at once.
wow.. I didn't realize that all the 'w' words are imported,, but,, yep,,, usually the 'w' sound is accomplished by the Spanish 'u'.
btw 'wow' is my answer.
