Recently, in my studies I came across Revelations 19:12....If Jesus has a name written that no one knows, but he himself, then what will Christians call him when he returns?

According to the Christian Bible. ST. Matthew Chap. 1verse 23.

the name that God told Mary to call the child was EMMANUEL. It was Jeosph that called the child JESUS because Mary did not tell him about what the LORD GOD to name him.

When he returns, we will call Him "LORD!"

There are many names that Jesus and others have used to refer to Him:

1. Christ the Lord

2. The Good Shepherd

3. Immanuel ("God is with us")

4. Son of God; Son of Man

5. The Redeemer

6. The Lamb of God ("Agnes Dei")

7. Lord of Hosts

8. The only begotten Son (John 3:16)

9. The Judge

10. Captain of th Lord's army

Many, many others; even in the Old testament. (See Book of Isaiah, Book of Daniel, Book of Jerimiah, for starters...)

This takes into account the faith that we will have a physical body and physical attribute to voice a name. I think the realm of God is one that is spiritual and God is worshiped in Spirit. I think we will not have to call Him by name for our worship will testify of itself. Just as God gave Moses the statement to tell the people that the "I AM" sent him. There is no humanization of God or of Christ in the afterlife our worship and allegiance will speak for our voice.

Actually, "Jesus" is simply an English translation of the Roman translation of the Hebrew name Yeshua. So, it's not his real name anyway. But it's convenient for us, and I think he answers to it. :)
