The thing is I'm not even that short...I'm 5'0 and in shape...I'm happy with my height but its almost like he thinks that i shouldnt be...
It's always why are you so short? (like i can help it..) Are you going to get any taller? I didn't realize you were so short without heels...etc. It's driving me crazy...I've tried talking to him but he makes a comment about it everytime I see him.

Either he is just a plain idiot, or perhaps he's just a bit immature and trying to say it in a flirtatious/teasing way but it's coming across like an insult? Ask him if he does do it in a teasing way, if he says no well then you should think about dumping him. On the other hand if that’s his only draw back perhaps you should weigh the pros and the cons of this guy… anyways hope you find the answer you’re looking for.

I suggest you get surgery to make your legs longer.
If you think that's a silly response, then why are you asking the question? I would bet you just need to know that other people agree with your decision when you do break up with him. Your boyfriend's an @ss, there's no doubt about that. But your inability to think for yourself will only create more problems for you down the road. Screw Yahoo Answers for moral support, go live your own life instead of relying on us to tell you what's best for your social life!

Sounds like he has some sort of problem. Hasn't he heard that size doesn't matter? Give him a little time apart from you to think things over and see if he's really happier without you. Maybe he'll see that it's not such a big issue after all.

If he is saying it to try and be funny then let him know that he is not being funny as you are sensitive about your height. If he is saying it to harass or humiliate you then tell him that your proud of every inch you have and if he is not then he's not the fella for you. You did the right thing by talking about it with him as communication is the key to success in any relationship.

Dump him! He doesn't appreciate you and you'll feel worse and worse about yourself as time progresses. Then, you'll take this to your next relationship and keep needing the next guy to reassure you that you're not too short. Plus, if he's already putting you down about this, I'm guessing he'll start insulting you about other things as time goes on. Men are pigs. You deserve someone that makes you feel good about yourself, not bad about yourself.

Not a stupid reason at all. Why did he want you for his woman if he doesn't like what's been there the whole time?
I wouldn't want to be with somebody who made me feel bad all the time. You're supposed to be happy when you're around the person you love.

If it bothers him so much then why is he still with you? Ask him this and then when you get your reply tell him to lay off the short jokes to prove he loves you the right reasons.... ofcourse if he responds by saying something more about your height.. leave him.

If it's bothering you, that he keeps mentioning it, first talk to him about how it makes you feel. If you have no lucky with that and the problem persists with his comments, dump him. That's what I'd do in that situation, but I probably would never end up in your situation, but still. Talk to him about it. But it's not really a stupid reason, if it's bothering you.

Well, I'm 5'2" and my boyfriend only teased me once about being short. The point is no guy who really cares for you is going to complain about something so petty for so long.
It's your decision but you seem like a nice girl and you don't need that.

Ask him if he'd rather date a taller girl, cause he's making you feel like you should apologize for your height. If he doesn't have a good answer for himself, then dump his ***. No man should make you question you beauty!
