The water in it is just as good, but the additives might not be.

Flavored water is a misnomer.
Flavoring is done as a process to sometimes mask the excess bad odour or taste of water.
In some cases flavoring will actually disguise the problems in regular water.
Regular means I hope is tap water. If so the water treated by municipaities in some towns and cities are quite good.
well water has natural filters....

The flavoured water is as good as regular water, but that depends upon the type and quantity of the flavor. The flavouring has to be done with due care for hygiene and purity. Sometimes the flavoured water helps more than the regular water. e.g. Rose flavor during scorching sun in ice cold water.

Regular water is the best water to drink. Most flavored waters contain additives that take away from the true function of water, to cleanse and nourish. Drink water frequently, drink flavored water instead of sodas and other drinks. Flavored waters are typically healther than those.

It depends whether it is flavored artificialy or with fruit juices. In my opinion artificialy favored water is not good for health as compare to regular water.

No, The plain water has lot of natural properties, flavored water just adds little bit of taste to it which can harm the natural ingredients of water. So I think flavoured water is not as same as plain water.

Flavoured water is just as good as regular water. Water flavoured with safe additives such as tulsi leaves, sandal paste and sabja seeds do enhance the flavour of the water with high medicinal and coolant properties. It also makes hard water tolerable to drink. Have you tasted the water given at the temples? Didnt u want to have one more sip of it? Its the same tulsi added with a little natural camphor. I have tasted the water flavoured with jeera (cumin) seeds in kerala. I was clarified by a restaurant owner that jeera has microbicide/bactericide properties which makes the water safe to consume. During summer months i have tasted pot water flavoured with vetiver roots..Excellent and refreshing.

It seems to me that anything you like is bad for you, but water is suppose to be good and a little flavor should not hurt, so I say it is ok.
