Not to worry, this is perfectly normal. It's not a period though, it's still lochia (postpartum bleeding) A period is after you've ovulated and it's very unlikely that you've ovulated in the past couple of weeks. Typically, postpartum bleeding last for about 6 weeks, so you've got a couple more weeks to go. Initially, the bleeding goes from bright red and heavy to pink-colored and then brown. The 'brown' phase will be toward the end of your bleeding time. This happened to me, too. I was like "Yippee! I'm all done with this" and then a couple days later.... Anyway, your body has a lot of recovering to do (do you know that it actually takes 5 years for a woman to recover from a pregnancy and birth?) Give yourself time and pamper yourself, too. This is a great time to rely on family and friends to help out :) Happy Mothering!

I got off the shot and bled for almost 2 months myself..Not the same exact situation, but I understand your situation. I called my gynecologists office and asked them if I was ok..If theres no clotting, you feel fine, and your not bleeding over a certain amount (sorry I can't remember the amount they told me) you should be fine. If you are concerned you should be able to just call and ask. If you come to any complications you should definitely call your doctor and schedule an appointment. If you feel that something is wrong the best thing to do is call and ask. It never hurts to ask if you are concerned. Hope this helps!

That you're not passing clots is definitely a good thing. I would go see your doctor, though, just to make sure everything's fine. It seems like you've been having a lot of bleeding in a concentrated amount of time.

That's just about exactly what happened after I gave birth in January. I bled for about a month, stopped for maybe a week then started my period. I've been to the OB's a few times since then and they know how my cycle was then. No one ever seemed concerned.
I think it's fine.

Yes the same thing happened to me. I exclusively breastfed and I always had my period. You are probably ovulating so be careful if you don't want to get pregnant again so soon. If you haven't had your post natal check up yet just mention it to your doctor.
Congratulations on the birth of your baby!

After all my kids I bled off and on for a few weeks, heavy sometimes, and then sometimes not at all. It would be hard for me to say if it's your period or just more bleeding. You'll just have to be patient and see if it gets regular.

It is probably still postpartum bleeding, even though it stopped for a couple of days. I'd call your OBGYN tomorrow just to be sure, but I wouldn't worry.
