I'm not sure what the connection might be, but I just read recently that allergies can be connected to hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). If that ends up being the problem then the solution would be to slowly cut back on processed carbobohydrates and sweets while adding in more protein and other unprocessed foods. Also I know I'm allergic to wheat (something doctors don't usually test for unless you ask) and it gives you all kinds of allergy symptoms. I hope you can find some relief soon :-)

An allergy is an abnormal reaction to ordinarily harmless substance or substances. These sensitizing substances, called allergens, may be inhaled, swallowed or come into contact with the skin. When an allergen is absorbed into the body it triggers white blood cells to produce IgE antibodies.

For asthma, there is no cure. For some allergies it is possible to undergo regular injections of allergen to reduce your sensitivity and that actually "cures" the allergy (but it could come back if you stop the injections).
