Because I downloaded a movie, but it only has the subs and not the video. It's the garage door version of Final Fantasy VII:Advent Children.

I think you need to find the video, and then like use a player to watch it completely. Let me know how it turns out.

A hassle free solution is to download the K-Lite Mega Codec http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/KLite_Mega_Codec_Pack/1080441198/1

You'll want to use the free included Media Player Classic, but you must ensure that your movie file name and your srt stays on the same directory and bears the same name but different extension.

FF VII is great.
