Actually one group of American's are benefiting, and they are the real problem. The CEO's and other big bosses that choose to hire illegals because they can pay them 3 dollars an hour rather than minimum wage and don't have to pay taxes, provide insurance, or pay social security and thus increase their own profit margin are the American's that are greedily damaging the economy to their own benefit. I have nothing but respect for the illegals that choose to work for 3 dollars an hour and live in rough conditions just so they can mail money back to their families. Focus on the people that hire illegals not the illegals.

well..it seems you are somewhat angry about this subject. But i don't think racism is the only excuse. I know empathy has a lot to do with it. The people that come to this country illegally were fleeing hardship and poverty beyond your imagination. I've seen it with my own eyes. to obtain a visa to come to this country you need to have money. and they don't have anything. they can't even feed themselves. so they hire a coyote that charges them upwards of $10,000 to get them across the border. then they have to work the next year to pay it off. then whatever money they have left they send back to their country so there family can eat. and have a roof that doesn't leak over their head. what is so bad about that? there are things our country could be doing that would help this situation immensly....but until our government can figure that out. illegal immigrants is something that will be a part of this country. whether or not you cry about it. i do not like that the people entered this country illegally. but most of them do not have negative intentions when they cross the border. they just want to feed their families. that is something your parents would have done for you too.

No, actually you're completely wrong.
The ones who are actually benefiting from the Illegals are the rich and upper middle-class families who exploit them at starvation level wages with the constant threat of being exposed and deported back to the living hellhole they came out of to try and make a better life.
The others who benefit from the illegals are the employers who see that the only way that they can remain competitive is to hire these people to do the jobs that mostly no others want to do in their sweatshops so that they can go home to their families and buy nintendos and flat screen HD TV's.

Havent you heard that employers prefer to hire illegal aliens not only because they have a higher work ethic, but because they work harder and do not whine all day long about EVERYTHING? Its a shame how a non English speaker, with no legalization in this country and no experiece are prefered by gov. officials to stay here. I am not racist. I just want people to follow the law. I don't want to pay for someone to bring their family here and get free medical, free food, and a free education that I have to pay for. If they are LEGAL citizens that pay taxes then I don't care if they are purple!
