I had that feeling among other symptoms but that was the one that brought me to the Doctor. A lot like anxiety attacks. I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism as well and 2 months later all y symptoms are gone and I feel good

change your diet, lessen the caffiene by 3/4. I had much the same symptoms. How long have you been on synthroid and how much are you taking? Did they retest the TSH levels to make sure you are where you need to be?

I'm on synthroid as well. I've had buzzing lately, but it's gotten better since I dropped my dose a tiny bit. Also, stress can elevate your blood sugar, which can do that! If you have burping and gas, it could be acid reflux. Keep a bland diet. I'm not sure what Lexapro is, but I hope they adjusted your synthroid meds accordingly.

I sometimes get this feeling that a vibrating pager is in my purse or in my pocket but nothing is there. It's not strong or annoying enough to complain about. I do have MS though and we are prone to strange sensations. It's hard to go through the diagnostic process, but it has to be done. Good luck to you!

I don't think I can tell you anything new. The electric sensation is clearly neurological, and very likely is based in the levels of your neurotransmitters. However, I can't even begin to say why that would be.

I would suggest getting off the meds for starters. Go to a good alternative medicing doctor and see what they can do for you. Also, your mind has alot of power. Good luck.

It might be a nerve problem, have your parents talk to your doctor about that.
