ok so she hasnt called and its been three days so what do i do

Call her when you know(for sure) what you're going to say. You're right, you don't want to sound eager. But if it's been three days, chances are that you won't sound eager to her.

first of all, why is everyone so concerned with looking "eager". if a guy called me 1 hour after getting my number, i might be turned off. but a day or two? i would just think he was interested!! three days, imo, is the longest you should wait to call before the girl thinks she is an afterthought, like you couldn't find anyone else to go out with so you fished out her number. but don't call on the weekend, it looks like you have no plans/life. call her soon, she may be shy and waiting for you

I would just call her. But have a good excuse, like.. if you are still in school, and maybe you have a class w/ her, ask about an assignment, or just have a reason for calling, that way you can get a conversation started.

god why can't people just ring and be eager, this unwritten "leave it a few days rule" always annoys the crap outa me...I love it when I like someone and they are keen there is always plenty of time later to take it easy, the start is always the most exciting GO FOR IT.
