well i am a hairdresser, and from experience i have found that sideswept (asymetrical) bangs work best on round or square face shapes. the reason they work is because they soften the shape of the face creating less angles visually. to start off i usually leave the bangs long enough to push to the side nicely, meaning just below the eye. with this shape of bang the only extra maintinence is when blowdrying blow dry that section down and the opposite way you want them to fall for a nice sweep.one more thing these are the most popular thing going right now definetly the trend.

nicole richies are only shiny because her hair is oily..look at pics of jennifer aniston..she has a very square face and jaw and looks great in bangs..in my opinion the bangs should be angled..
