I think we could end up re-defining God as we advance scientifically. We still won't know if we're right, but I think eventually spiritua; scientists will manage to inject some logic into the concept. Here is a theory I've come up with... I know it sounds crazy, but no crazier than any other interpretation of God:
God is the collective consciousness of all creation.
Thought and instinct are together a particle force, like gravity.
The thought-force is directed primarily by the collective consciousness (aka God, aka all of creation.)
Here's why I think this is plausible:
The uncertainty principal and things like the interference pattern that emerge when a single photon is fired through two slits in a screen and some of the oddities of quantum mechanice (like the wave/particle conundrum wherein potons seem to "behave" differently depending upon whether or not they are being observed) can all be explained if the thought processes of those observing can be said to have an effect on the outcome.
There are too many people who clam to have had some sort of unexplained experians to write them all of as nutters. This theory would explain "ghosts," "esp," the link that has been pretty well documented between twins, and even twinned photons (which travel in opposite directions but seem to "know" what the other is doing... since a photon is light, that communication must be traveling faster than light).
We know the brain is an electrical organ. That electricity could be putting out some hitherto unknow sub-quantum particle that, when joined with the other like it, becomes a great sentient mass of energy that loves us as we love ourselves. That could be God.
I know much of this is WAAAYYY out there, but i feel a strong conviction that God exists... but all of the definitons we have found make no sense to me. God may well be a physical entity that we are unable to discern. That makes more sense to me than somehing supernatural. After all, if God created the natural world, I believe he is bound by it's laws.
Right... I'm a nutter now, aren't I?

Yes, some have.
The more advanced we get, the more incredible God gets. We still cannot answer the most fundamental questions outside of God (how did life begin? what is the smallest particle? How big is the universe and how did it start? etc).
God is the name of the Creator in whom I believe. He also has other names, as listed in the Bible.
Love is explained through action.
I do not believe in evolution.
There are different planes, if you choose to use this word.
Define extra-terrestrials. Do you include angels and demons? If so, then yes, we will see them. At least, I and those who believe will see angels
The last three.... I'll leave those to others

science itself represents God's creation and art. So the more technologically advanced we become, the larger God gets on the scale of miracles.
Love is explained via humanism and synergy is its catalyst....i dont believe in evolution. thats all i know :)

science is discovering the complexity and greatness of god's creation. the big bang, evolution, relativitity only give us a "hint" at how magnificent God is. What science discovers, God made. Scientists are able to understand more cleary just how complex life is. For Ex., the cell contains as much info as 10,000 encyclopedias, the eye is so intrically "designed" to capture light w/ millions of light sensitive cells, sadly many scientists don't find God necessary to create lif>

People have found God through science for centuries. People who think otherwise just have closed minds to God. I personaly grew in a greater awe of God when studying Quantum Mechanics in college.
I have no idea what you are refering to when you speak of "illuminati" sounds a bit far out to me.

"sigh" and back I say: it somewhat is the classic atheistic reaction. yet it feels extra like an attempt to sidestep easily having to delve into the situation. isn't technological know-how predicated upon the cyclical potential of hypothesis? it somewhat is to declare an assumption is made, a try is carried out, the outcomes are recorded and the theorem the two evolves or is dispelled. it form of feels atheism in elementary terms gets as a techniques using fact the hypothesis as to the thought of God's existence yet can provide no qualitative information to the two instruct or disprove His existence. in addition to, isn't between the tenants of actual technological know-how to discover ALL opportunities? Why is it that technological know-how stubbornly refuses to discover the belief of God? i understand that the classic argument is that Darwinism, evolution, quantum physic, astrophysics and much extra those days string thought, all supply countless aspects of the anti-God argument. yet none of those theories clarify how the complicated amalgamation of rely/anti-rely/dark rely and void it somewhat is the universe got here into being by using random happenstance. The risk of which defies mathematical computation. technological know-how specializes interior the trunk, branches and leaves of the tree yet using fact it could neither see the roots nor try for them, it refutes that the roots even exist. If the basis of technological know-how is to discover reality, then why don't you attempt to discover the certainty approximately God. finally, technological know-how, by using its very nature, can no longer have any concept; in elementary terms information. for this reason what i'm asking is for the information which you have that supply irrefutable information of God’s non-existence no longer your ideals.

the more we get to know abt science.. the universe etc...it becomes much easier to understand the SOVEREIGNITY OF GOD!!!!
plz do read "the bible, the Quran n the Sciene" by Maurice buccaile....
in the Quran there is the mention of "embryology" in such a way that is proved to be true now... n quran came some 1400 yrs ago(when nobody knew how a baby developed)!!!!

Of course not. Belief in god goes against science.
Religion makes claims of the absolute while trying to suppress any evidence against it.
Science makes no claims of absolute truths. It makes theories that try to explain evidence, but realizes that all theories are up to revision given new evidence.

You find God anywhere but only if you really want to..
No God doesn't get smaller because we learn more..
We are just able to understand him better and view him in a another perspective which may be better..
