These days there are alot of girls that use straighteners on their hair when in all actuallity they don't need to. If you have a natural curl in your hair maybe you should give your hair a chance to do it's own thing and enjoy the curl.

Some different ways to wear your hair is in a ponytail then take a butterfly clip and clip under your ponytail to give it a less plainer appearance. Also I love wearing my hair in very low pigtails or low pigtail braids.
For straighting tips, make sure your hair is clean and is COMPLETELY Dry! Also try and seperate your hair in smaller sections and straigten smaller pieces, if you do to big of clumps it won't be straighten for long.
Hope these help!

Hair trouble, when you get your allowance go to Target and buy many different hair decors and wear your hair in many different ponytails. Use headbands and glitter ribbons. Don't worry so much about it all you need is a bangs and a colored deco to match your Tee.

Go to your hair stylist and ask them to use thinning shears on your hair, if your hair is thinner it automatically straightens it out, and having waves doesnt look as bad. My hair is half and half as well and I get the thinning shears done, it does nothing to your length all it does is make some hairs shirter than the others and thins them out.

you should cut your hair in long layers, that way your hair won't fall into a poof. trust me. it will help a lot!
but if you don't feel like cutting it, start using a anti-frizz serum or cream.
but try the layers. :)
