I don't know what is happening to me but my heart rate speeds up very suddenly if I am in the sun or coming inside from being in the sun or walking or playing my flute or pretty much anything I would consider daily routine. This is something that I don't know anything about since it isn't anywhere near my area of study. My heart beat goes up to about 115 times a minute. And that is the max so far. Should I see a doctor?

Also, I don't get any chest pains and it takes as long as 20 minutes to slow down.

Please don't take this the wrong way, dear,... but always see a doctor when your heart is acting funny or feeling funny for any reason.

Don't wait and post on boards for responses. This is your HEART your talking about. One wrong rhythm, a little over exertion, and you could be looking at a heart attack or coronary failure.

Don't play around when it comes to your heart. See a doctor as soon as possible when it occurs or go to the hospital.

Please,... for your own well being and safety see a doctor.

Try to monitor very carefully when your heart rate begins to speed up. Write down what you are doing and how you are feeling and the time. If it happens very often, only monitor for a day or so, then report it to your doctor. Take care.

Are you having panic attacks for any reason? When you are outside are you thinking of stressful things? How long does it take to return to normal? Are you experiencing any chest pain? If your answers lead you to think something is wrong then you should see a doctor.
