I understand you. He gave us a conscience, wisdom, and free will. Then we screw up and blame Him when if you'd taken the time to pray and consult Him, in the first place, you probably wouldn't have screwed up anyway.
The problem is that human beings yearn for the power of God without having the moral capabilities to use it wisely.

If God does exist, why doesn't he show himself? Jesus showed up to many people in the bible to prove he was alive after his resurection. And since I know that you are going to say that he isn't coming back until the rapture or whatever, then why doesn't God at least answer prayer?

Like James 5:15-16 says And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. , It also says in Matthew (I think that where two or more are gathered, yaddah yaddah.

So, why hasn't God cured any diseases lately? I guess you'll say he 'let men cure them'?

Why not just put your faith in Santa? At least if your good you'll get presents! Santa was created to control little children, and this crazy God non-sense is the same way. To control weak minded people who need to feel that there is something more outt here because they are afraid of their own deaths.

Well I dislike it when people blame God for everything.

The ones who accepts God and loves Him will feel his existence. Atheist won't feel His presence because they don't know God, yet. God knows everyone, even before you were born. He calls on people to worship Him. People do have free will and can only help themselves. They can choose to know and love God, or go another way.

One can't depend on God to always be there. One has to do actions, spread the gospel, do good things. If God sees what He likes or one calls to Him, then ye shall receive abundance. I think people just don't have patience with God. God knows each one of our timetable ... it's better to wait patiently cuz there's always a good reason.

►Because some people believe that they have to physically see a God to believe that He exists. That's just the way people are. I believe in God and I don't have to see His physical being to know that He is real.
►You're right, people do cause most of the bad things upon themselves. Sometimes he lets bad things happen to us, to teach us a lesson. God is like a parent, He lets us fall down and He is there to comfort us when we come running with dirt on our knees. Then we know not to make that same mistake again.

Why God, did you give most of us a brain powerful enough to form rational thoughts and questions?
Oh! That's why we have the community college system.
Thanks, God.
Now, some of these prats can claim to be college grads.

Eddie, hate is a strong word. Then again, most of the hate filled people I have met are also the most religious.
Doesn't quite make sense, does it?

Religion is supposed to teach us to be tolerant of others.
I'll never know how we screwed this interpretation up so badly.

Sure. I understand you and agree. God has given all of us free choice. So if we CHOOSE to turn our backs on Him, it's a bit selfish to think He is going to be there for us anyway. That would mean He would have to FORCE His presence on us and God doesn't do that. (That's where the free choice comes in)
Anyone who says this just "want their cake and eat it too.". They want it both ways and they can't have it both ways so they choose to whine and complian.

But He is here with us.

We are genetically part of God.

He is part of us.

He is part of the trees and the earth.

He made it all and He is always here.

With us.

Of course, we have free will.

But He is always here.

God longs for everyone to come to Him in repentance, asking forgiveness for their wrong doing, and turning away from a life of sin to Him, serving Him and living in His ways.

Everyone has this opportunity

Yeah, I understand your...uh...your question? Was that a question.
Either way, I understand.
If people don't believe, then it's not likely God is walking closely with them. With me...he is close!!
And, yes, he gave us free will and let that go.
