Is it okay to eat a junior cheeseburger after five or more hours of buying it? Or is it going to kill me? What's the worst that could happen? I am very hungry right now and I don't want to throw it away. Ten points for honest answer.

Listen Young lady... A young man went to play golf recently(within the last month) and the next morning he died. His father wasnt satisfied with things and dug further into the situation. Turns out he died from a bacteria that was in the ice he consumed from a cooler on the fairway. The ice had been contaminated by someones hands. Now thats from Ice and you want to eat that burger thats been arounf for over 3 hours? Please do your self some justice and relise that bacteria works qiuckly and it could make you real sick with lingering affects or worse kill you. So dont eat that burger. Throw it away and get something fresh to eat, thats better for you than some prossesed
meat and bread. Get some fruit and vanilla yougurt and eat that or have a chef salad thats good for you.

As long it has been refridgerated it should be fine. If it has been outside of the refridgerator for longer then two hours and in room temperature bacteria could be developing and it could make you sick if you eat or you could even get food poisoning.

After 5 hours!?! Wow... If it's been in the fridge at least 4 of those hours... I'd say why not... but if not... then TOSS IT!!!!
You could get sick... even flat-out food poisoning, and have to get you stomache pumped out...(ewww)!

If it has been sitting at room temperature for five hours, I personally would not. At the very least, it might make you ill.

I wouldn't. Buy the junior bacon hot and fresh.

lol u wont die. If it was sitting at room temp or in the fridge (pathologists and foodies strike me dead) it should be fine. If it was sitting on your back porch or in your car its a no go.
