A co-worker just told me that he is gay and has been dreaming about other guys in the office. Personally, I'm ok with him being a butt nut but the other guys can't handle it. Should I tell them that he's gay or just let him go off on his little fancy pants fantasies??? What if he's checking us out in the bathroom? I for one don't like to be forced!!!

O.K., first of all, even though you say that you are "alright" with him being a "butt nut", and worrying that he's checking you out in the john and that you don't like being forced, shows that you have a very limited view of the homosexual community and it's members. You got a little homophobia goin' on there fella and don't try to tell me you don't because it's loud and clear in your words, fears and attitude. Second of all, how about shutting down all those stereotypes in your head and begin looking at your co=worker as a person not just a guy who (unfortunately in my opinion) just told you that he is gay. He confided in you and you're wondering if you should put up a flyer in the mens room saying he's hot for everyones "rod"?! You have fantasies too, don't you?! Fantasies about whatever happens to turn you on right? And yet somehow you can manage to restrain yourself from molesting your co-workers who are female on a daily basis, right? Well, being gay doesn't mean having no restraint or morals. It means enjoying the company and or the sex with a person of the same sex. That's it. No more. Sure there's some sicko's out there in both the straight and gay world. That's life. It doesn't sound like your co-worker is a sicko or wishes to harm anyone. Why in the world would you tell everyone? Plus, I just noticed that you said "but the other guys can't handle it." How do you know? You're probably right, the men might have a bit of difficulty when they hear that your co-workers gay but who are you to tell them. And I could be completely wrong. Maybe your reaction would be the most absurd of them all and the other guys would be able to discuss it without using words like "nutt but" and worrying if your co-worker is checking them out in the john. Keep your mouth closed and open your ears and learn more about the gay community. You'll be surprised how "normal" it is.

Are you 12? What makes you think that your co-worker is attracted to any male in the office? Think about the last time you were in public. Were you attracted to every female that you saw? Why would it be different for him?
Don't be a dope. Just be a friend. You'll need it someday.

Well do you like him (I don't like to be forced?) You don't have to annouce it to the office. They probably will figure it out (if they havn't already) and they will deal with it in their own way. Just be up front with him if your not interested.
