The Minute Men? I think we should call them what they are - vigilantes. They can dress it up anyway they want but that's what it boils down to.

I wouldn't even call them vigilantes. I don't quite know how to categorize them. Maybe just a bunch of guys who like to dress up and play army? I understand that their politics is somewhat right-wing. But then that's just what I gather from the media. If they really meant business I think they would be aggressive towards moslems, especially the Michigan Militia, since so many arabs live in the Detroit-Dearborn areas.

I don't think they're in the same niche as the Klan, and groups like that. I think they're more political than most paramilitary outfits.

The only real thing concerning them that bothers me is that Tim McVeigh was loosely associated with them. But, you probably can't blame the militias for that anymore than say a murderer belonging to the Masons or Lions Club.

From what I've read about them they seem interesting though.

They are a group of people that got together to try to stop the Illegal Immigrants from entering the U.S. Just like the people that go out to the border to help the Illegal Alien by putting water. by them putting water out there helps them make the journey if there were no water they would not make the journey These people are also Vigilantes and are breaking the law. I think they are whacked out of their mind. Let me ask a counter-question: would that person call the cops if they saw someone getting raped, mugged or murdered?? I bet they wouldn't and if they did then they (by their own definition) are vigilantes.

I think minutemen need to be more honest and say what they really don't want crossing that border. They claim this big, high-tech fence is primarily being built to keep cattle from crossing over. I am so f-ing sure! They just don't want Mexicans pouring across.
