Oil - I use Wonder 8 Oil, I think thats it. Grease weighs down your hair and makes it gross. Oil is light and sometimes has a pleasent smell. I am 1/2 white and 1/2 black and have somewhat curly hair. Not 'white people' straight hair but not entirely nappy. I have a lot of mixtures in me, so I guess that makes a difference.
So use Wonder 8 Oil. It's great. Then if you need the frizz out, use Zero Frizz serum. My hair is AWESOME cuz of it!!

Oil is better. Grease doesn't moisturize. Put some Vaseline on the back of your wrist. Run water on top of the grease and you will notice the water rolls off. The grease blocks the moisture from the water. The same thing happens with grease in your hair. Sure it makes it shiny but not moisturized.

natural oils are better for blk ppl hair because it moisturizes ur hair, where grease clogs the pores in ur scalp

it depends, they pretty much accomplish the same the thing.. if you dont mind your hair being weighed down use grease and oil is lighter

try (its called IndianHemp) its all natural puts a great shine on your hair use just a little its great and cheap ,specialy for your type of hair no matter what stlye you choose

both of them are good...because are scalp needs some type of moisture in it.....my pref will be grease not to much but enough....

many of my friends use oil... its supposed to be better for your hair and skin (around your hairline so you won't break-out).
