If your gonna change it yourself get henna,a natural product that is good for your hair.Failing that if your feeling rich like parting with a few hundred bucks get a salon to do it. Go brown first instead of black cos dark hair often makes blondes look creepy(gothic like)as in witches/hags LOL.

I would highly suggest talking to a stylist. If you use a home color you are running the risk of turning your hair green, or gray. When you have blonde hair, you are missing the red pigment. In order to achieve a darker color such as black you need to fill it with a red pigment. As far as will it look good? Only you can decide. Do what feels right!! Good luck!!

Well the BEST would be to go to a salon. But if your a do-it-yourself kind of girl then I'd suggest going with the garnier brand. That's what I always use. And I think it will look great so long as it fits your style. If your scene/goth/punk whatever I say go for it, if your just another normal person I'd say stay natural.
Hope that helps.

NO! Dont do it, or if you do make sure that you get stuff that washes out in a few shampoos. I dyed my hair blue-black and eventually hated it. The problem is that the only way to get rid of the color is to strip your hair usung a really harsh chemical that damages your hair, otherwise you have to let it grow out the color (which looks funny)
I recommend that you dont do it.

Be prepared to hate it at first. You won't even recongize yourself in the mirror for about a week. Any higher quality dye will work, just be sure and put vaseline around your hair line on your face, neck and ears so that the dye doesn't stain your skin to badly.

dont use hair dye from the store. Go to a beauty salon and have them do it for you. Because the hair dye in stores can damage your hair. Better to do it right the first time...then to have it done wrong and pay to have it fixed...therefor costing time and more money.

If you have blond hair, to be able to get black, you need to first put red in it. The redder the better. Then put the black on. If you don't your hair will turn out green.

For such a dramatic change, you should go to a salon rahter than trying to do it yourself.
Be sure that you really want that colour; if you don't like it, your hair would need to be stripped before re-colouring, which will make it feel like dead straw.
