i hav to travel from Edison (cobblestone) NJ to 1855 broadway manhattan NY (abt twice a week for a couple of months or so )...and as of now i dont hav a drive .....i would like to knoe whether i could travel by a bus. i read here that it takes abt 45 min to travel through train so In case of the train i would like to know how far is the nearest train station frm cobblestone(could i take a walk to the station) and similarly how far is the 1855 braodway from the train station. is there a direct train or do i hav to shift one....

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wizzard has the right answer. Take the train then switch to the subway.
I hate NY and even I have managed it.

king, the train is much better. there is always delayon the bus, with the tunnel. The train will take you to 34th Street and take the subwauy upstown toaround 57th strret it appears.
