i dyed it dark, then 3 months later decided to go back light, it didn't turn out good, at all. reall embarrassing, anyway, should i bleach or do i need to strip it?

I would not mess with it anymore than you have, leave it to the professionals and go to a hair dresser!! You don't want it to come out worse than it is, plus think of all the damage you are doing to your hair. The only way to make it right is to have the hair dresser take a look and see what can be done. They will have the right answer.

Bleaching or stripping your hair should depend on the texture of your hair. For people with course textured hair may be damaging to their hair. A colored rinse would be their best option. For people with bone straight hair will also be damaging, but not as damaging because this type of hair doesn't hold water, heat...etc.

stylist here hunny u may just need a toner stop by a shop and ask them then u can buy the toner at Sally's good luck and then let ur hair rest n condition it really good

I think that you should just put very subtle highlights in your hair. That's what I did with my hair, and my hair is a fair shade of honey brown, and every loves it!
