well a couple weeks ago i got contacts. my right eye felt fine right away when i put the contact in, but my left eye still hurt. not really hurt, just kind of irritated. well anyways i just got a new brand today, a trial pair. and i put them in, and voila! my right eye felt fine right away again, and my left eye felt irritated again. sort of like an eyelash, and no there is not an eyelash because i take out the contact and my eye is fine. i hold it up to the light, no rips, no fuzz, nothing, put it back in and it hurts again. do you think i just need to get used to having something in my eye for a few days? or will it always feel this way--annoying!!? any help woud be appreciated

If your contacts are irritating you then go and talk to your eye doctor. It might be something else with your eye other than the contacts so meet with your eye doctor ASAP!

well, maybe theres something in your left eye which u might not notice it....

or

the contact lens is not fitting well on your eye. make sure that you visit your optometrist to check on the contact lens fitting in your eyes, as in the movement of the contact lens in your eye, the amount of tears exchange and your vision.

also, by visiting an optometrist, they can check your eye health and gives u their professional advise on whether contact lens are suitable for your eyes and the correct methods to handle your lens.

theres isn't the need to visit a doctor. its wasting your money.

It could very well be that the lens is either inside out or that it is not fitting your eye properly. Call your optometrist so that you can be seen again to make sure the lens fits like it should. Good luck!
