I'm the farthest from a Christian that you will ever meet but I have to believe that Jesus would spread love and forgiveness. That's what his life was about.

The answer is so obvious in the detail, that it leaves little to be said! What a great question for pondering. I don't think Jesus would speak in most of the churches today. It would be out on the hillsides and open-air stadiums. Much like the places He spoke when he was here before. He'd recognize the same corruption in the churches too. (I'm not saying ALL churches) What was that thing he said about white-washed sepulchers, dead inside filled with ...darn! I can't remember, but it was a doozy.

Considering he kicked *** of the money changers in the temple, it would not seem he simply spread love and forgiveness. Money changing would seem to be nothing in comparison to killing babies and being sexually promiscous.
He never said those things were okay. What he said was, "Go and sin no more." How can you twist that into love and forgiveness without first stopping the sin?

Jesus spoke of Hell more than He did Heaven.
Why? It is a very real place and as He instructed, followers must do he will of the Father or they will find themselves being eternally seperated from God and all things like happiness, love, compassion - all the things from God.

I believe if Jesus came to most churches he would not even be allowed through the door. Most churches are full of hippocrites who go to be seen and play dress up. Todays christians usually(not all)are just a bunch of judgemental people who are so miserable with their own life that they try to make others miserable. The right wing today is all about power, politics and money and they use religion to garner votes, while they go to Bohemian Grove and indulge in all sorts of orgies and satanic rituals. That is what guys like Mr Bush do with their free time. I tell ya this.....if heaven is going to be full of guys like Bush,Cheney etc..then send me to hell!

Jesus said wide is the way that leads to destruction. Straight & narrow the way that leads to life.
Jesus said, "I AM the Way, Truth & Life. No one comes to the Father except by me."
This is the Christian fundamentals. It is God's Way or no way.

Everyone is forgiven, but only those who accept that forgiveness are saved and will go to heaven. That's what Jesus is about, that's what he will always be about.

Unless you believe, you are going to hell. It’s that simple. There is NO forgiveness unless you believe.
Mark 16:16 (KJV)
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Jesus wasn't a Christian, he was Jewish; therefore, his opinions do not count in Christian fundamentalist matters.
