When ever I ask so why didn’t Jesus fulfill the requirements to be the Messiah such as
He must bring world peace. (Isaiah 2:4, Isaiah 11:6, Micah 4:3)
He must influence the entire world to acknowledge and serve one God. (Isaiah 11:9, Isaiah 40:5, Zephaniah 3:9)
He must gather the Jewish people from exile and return them to Israel. (Isaiah 27:12-13, Isaiah 11:12)
I am told he will do all of this in a second coming.
So where is the proof text that says that the Messiah will do ABC, die, come back and ascend to heaven, then come back down to do XYZ

I mean if he is the son of god he should be able to do it in one shot, right?

The whole concept of a second coming is a lame attempt to cover a messianic failure

You must not have read the bible well. If he did it all in one shot, then none of us would have ever had the chance to change. It would have defeated the purpose of his first coming. And, maybe God felt like putting more people in the world for awhile. I'm glad he chose to do it that way, I never would have gotten a chance to experience life, and the love of God.

***why dose Jesus need a second coming? ***
( conversation between Jesus and Judas follows )
John 14:
28."You heard me say, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. 29.I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.
Is that something. Jesus was not alive in the old
Testament times, all your passage references are there.Jesus is not here you must take responsibility and successfully complete his works.
Thanks
May the Good Lord have mercy on us all.

Philip. 2:9-11
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: [10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; [11] And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
ONce Jesus returns in glory, everyone must admit that Jesus is Lord (god) since we will all see him.
The state of Israel was "reborn" in 1948, after 2000 years in excile. Millions of Jews chose to return to their land.

I personally do not believe the ''messiah'' came the first time. Jesus was a man, a teacher, a Rabbi, and some say a prophet. Only a man-----------------.

His first coming was to die and to rise from the dead. To overcome death..
He will return for His church in the second coming.

He could do it all in one shot. But who are you to Question His methods? Do you feel you have somthing of import to fill Him in on? You don't feel He's efficient enough? Let Him know.
haha...
"God, Why are you saving me like this?!?!... Shouldn't this process be streamlined by now?"
