Text editor software for Scanner?

I have a GENIUS Color Page Vivid Pro II Flat bed scanner. Have lost the Driver and Text Editing software. Is there any place from where I can get or down load FREE of cost the above?

ONce you convert an image to plain text, you can edit it in Word, or any other document software.

If XP does not have a generic driver that works, you can find drivers on sites like this:
