For those who said that Jesus hates sin, you are wrong. You people forget that you're not told to "hate the sin." You're told to forgive the sin. In Matthew 18:23-35 Christ tells of a slave who was forgiven his debts (just as Christians are forgiven their sins). This slave, however, refused to forgive the debt of a fellow slave (just as Christ asks us to forgive our fellow sinners). Christ called that slave "Evil." All who call themselves "Christian" absolutely must forgive the sins of any other sinner - even the homosexual. The moment you don't, the moment you start brandishing the "love the sinner but hate the sin" argument, you are yourselves condemned by the very God you say you serve.

Since he created them, I would like to believe he'd fight for them. If he's the kind and loving God that we were raised to believe in as human beings, I would expect no less.

Jesus hates sin. He became sin for the whole world when he died on the cross. Homosexuality is a sin. The people that struggle with sin are just the same as the people who struggle with disobeying their parents or gossip. Christ loves the people and hates the sin. A great example is of the woman who was caught in adultery. This woman was about to be stoned to death by the leaders of the city and Jesus had complete compassion on her. The problem with this question is that is doesn't recognize homosexuality as a sin. Once you recognize it as a sin you will see that Christ would tell them to repent of their sin and they would be forgiven. He would "dump" on homosexuals if they believed it was okay. Just like he did with the people in the temple. He destroyed the temple, repremanded them and told them to never do it again. Hope that answers your question.

He wants us all to have freedom and rights, and i think He knows rather you are allowed to marry by the state or not you are still gonna live together and do what you want. BUT He cannot condone it as the Bible says over and over that man was not made to have sex with man or a woman with a woman. And it really is not possible the way that we are made, so i don't see how any Christian could say that it is okay and natural, since it is impossible the way God made us for a man and man to have a child, or a woman and woman. God never wanted such perversion to exist. All who do it are living in sin, but God can forgive sin and change thier lives so they will not desire after perversion anymore.

I think jesus would "fight for their rights as human beings" but then again jesus might of been some kinda freakie...

Also as a side note this is known as a loaded question. If someone answers "jesus would dump on homosexuals" it makes them look like a bad person. Part of the purpose of asking questions is so you can have non biased answers. By loading a question you will most likley get a loaded answer. Try asking the question "Do you think jesus would be for or against homosexual rights?" You might get more heart felt responses.

All people not matter what your race, nationality, religion, sexual preferences are have rights. Jesus does not judge nor does he condemn anyone because of what they are. Just as long as they know the difference between right and wrong and ask for forgiveness when they do wrong then all is right in the world.
I've had gay friends before and I have to say that they were alot more trusting and decent than any of my straights friends were. So why would gays have less rights than anyone else? That's what I think anyway.

Jesus fights for the rights of every human being, since we are sinners, and cannot fight for our own rights...

Rom 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Homosexuality is a sin, just like every other sin Jesus died for. He didn't die so you could continue in your sins, but so that He could reconcile you to Himself.

Wow! I actually read some intelligent answers for a change! All except for one...................

Anyway, Jesus always loves the sinner and hates the sin. Homosexuality is a sin. So long as the sinner repents and turns aways from his sin, he will be forgiven. Whatever your sin is, whether homosexuality, theft, rape.....repentance means you TURN AWAY from the sin and do our absolute very best to never come back to it. That's what Jesus is looking for from us when we truly repent.

Jesus loves sinners and wants them to be saved....but He does HATE the sin of homosexuality (among other sins), so He would punish them for this sin!

god will look at the person first but homosexual is sin also sickness that god must think and understand the person before he judge but the homosexual person must know at the time he is face to face with god that he is in sin, like most to all of us but god will not dump on the person also the person is no more human in the time of facing god so men made human rights will not be in play at that time

jesus doesnt see the sin he sees the people which you should learn to do. jesus ate with sinners.god sees love and life in all of us we have to learn to see that little light you have to let it ahine. one thing people have to clear out is the diffrence between love and lust when people search for love theyll turn it to lust. So dont throw stones at them like the jews were going to homosexuals are no more diffrent than me and you they have challenges.so let them be.he hates the sin but loves the sinner.
